Efficacyofcapecitabine-basedcombinationtherapyandsingleagentcapecitabinemaintenancetherapyinpatientswithmetastaticbreastcancer

摘要： Objective:Thepurposeofthisstudywastoobservetheefficacyandtoxicitiesofcapecitabine-basedchemotherapyandcapecitabinemonotherapyasmaintenancetherapyinthetreatmentofmetastaticbreastcancer(MBC).Patientsandmethods:Atotalof98MBCpatientsweretreatedwithcapecitabinecombinedwithvinorelbine(NX).Results:Themediannumberoftreatmentwas6cycles(1-7cycles).Thereweretwocasesofcompleteremission(CR),58partialremission,27stabledisease(SD),11progressiondisease.Theoverallresponserate(ORR)(CR+PR)was61.2%.Theclinicalbenefitrate(CBR)was75.5%.Fiftyofeffectivepatientsreceivedwithcapecitabinemonotherapyasmaintenancetherapy.TheORR(CR+PR)was4%.TheCBRwas48%.Themedianprogression-freesurvival(PFS)was12months.Inmaintenancetherapyornot,themedianpostmetastasissurvivalrate(MSR)was63and28months,respectively.Inthecombinationtherapygroup,themajorgrade3/4toxicitiesincludedhand-footsyndrome(3.1%),skinpigmentation(2.0%),diarrhoeaandabdominaldistension(5.1%),stomatitis(1.0%),andleukopenia(20.4%).Conclusions:Capecitabine-basedcombinationtherapyandsingle-agentcapecitabinemaintenancetherapywerewelltoleratedandeffectivetoMBC. ... （共6頁(yè)）
